Jai Hindi is an amalgam of 2 words Jai + Hind. Jai is a Sanskrit word which signifies victory and Hind signifies India. Thus, these words proclaim as victory to India. This slogan was first given by “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose” to this military outfit Azad Hind Fauz (I.N.A). The Red Fort Delhi is erected by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan has with witnessed several coronations, historic events, unheard and unsung. The journey through this citadel mesmerize you standing in the pavilions and palaces encompassing the history and culture. Red Fort Light and Sound show was very popular and due to Corona Pandemic could not be started again. In the New Year January 2023 with the inaugural of Jai Hindi Light and Sound show by the honorable Home Minister of India Mr. Amit Shah. This new show is supposed to develop patriotic pride.

“Jai Hind” Light and Sound Show Highlights
India is celebrating 75th years of Independence called Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav the government of India and various ministers are planning the programs and celebrations. The Archeological Survey of India has set up some museums inside the Fort depicting the India heroes and events. “Jai Hindi” show will be in both Hindi & English Languages. The total duration of the show will be nearly 1 ‘Hour’. This show is divided into 3 parts. It brings forth the main episodes of history of modern India. It displays the rise of Maratha power with the First war of Independence of 1857. It also focuses on I.N.A history and trials. Besides the show brings to the light the progress of modern India in over 75 years of span after it came out of the clutches of the British Imperialism.
About Jai Hind Light and Sound Show
“Jai Hind” Light and Sound Show at the Red Fort Delhi showcases the tales of extreme valour of the Indian Icons the 17th century to the Indian freedom struggle. This revamped show presents the gallantry of the Heros. This is 1 hour long show with a sitting capacity of 70 spectators. The show uses modern technology like projection mapping, light and immersive sound, live action films etc. This theme and script of the show is beautifully written and highlights the country’s long legacy of its story and culture.
As the show is divided in 3 parts it showcase various monuments housed inside the Red Fort, such as Nauwat Khana, Deewan – E – AAM to Deewan – E – Khas, commissioned after a gap of almost 5 years this show combining art and modern technology is supposed to drag the bumper audience.
