Fatehpur Sikri Tour Itinerary

Day 01:

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

We will pick you after lunch from your hotel in Agra. Thereafter you will be enjoying the comforts of your private air conditioned car. If normally takes one hour in the drive towards Fatehpur Sikri from Agra. Our expert tour guide would brief you about Mughals and their architecture. He will narrate you on the way about the Indian rustic life and various aspects of traditional village life.

Upon reaching at Fatehpur Sikri you will leave the car in the parking and head toward the fortress with your tour guide using the C.N.G bus services at Gulistan Parking. As you reach the entrance get Instagram worthy pictures of the impressive Deevan – I –Aam and Deevan-i-khas. Later visit the palaces such as Turkish Sultana Palace, Jodhabai Palace, Mariam palace, Panch Mahal etc. After visiting the palaces move towards the religious section which comprises of the Mosque, Buland Gate and the tomb of Salim Chisti.

Visiting the sufi Dargah is always a positive experience. After paying respect to the holy man and visiting the Buland Darwaza and the royal mosque, you enjoy the devotional eveing of Qawwali performance at the tomb itself and get mesmerized.

Even through Qawwali is a popular and devotional art form but less people know what Qawwalis are and what they sing about the group of Qawwals and their devotional singing would leave you spell bound with the accompaniment of Harmonium and Tabla. At the end of the performance the tour guide will escort you to the parking and you will be driven bak to Agra in the same car. Now we transfer you back to your hotel.
