Enjoying this 4 hour drive by road as you reach Karauli you will visit the Kaila devi temple which is on the bank of kalisil river. This temple is dedicated to goddess kaila. This temple is built in medieval architecture with modern modifications.

Now get to see the city palace which is the former residence of the rulers. This has much grandeur lying in the centre of walled city. Karauli was founded in 995 AD by Raja Bajaj Pal later on British occupied it up to the Indian independence. This kity palace was built in 14th century by Arjun Pal. It is built out of red and white stones and provides a magnificent view of the city.

You also get to see the Madan Mohan Temple housed inside. Other notable buildings of the city palace are Divan –I-Am , rang Mahal etc. Thus you will be enamored by the beauty of the palaces and the bygone history.

Now if you have time you can also visit the Keladevi wildlife sanctuary where you can take nice pictures and enjoy the local birds sighting. At the end of the day tour you will be driven to Agra back to your hotel.
