Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: - India is commemorating the 75th years of Independence called Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Archeleogical Survey of India has decided to keep Taj Mahal and the ticketed monuments fee from 5th August to 15th August 2022.
Urs of Emperor Shahjahan : - The Urs of Shahjahan is celebrated with much pomp and show annually on 25, 26 and 27 of Rajab. There is a custom to celebrate the birth day of Shahjahan inside the Taj Mahal this ceremony is known as Urs. In 2022 it will be 367th birth day of Shahjahan. The archaeological Survey of India managers to keen the Taj Mahal entry fee from entrance tickets for 3 consecutive days. First 2 days the afternoons are free and the third day for the whole day there remains no entry fee at the Taj Mahal.
